Job Description
The WaterFront Center, located in Oyster Bay, New York, seeks talented, enthusiastic sailing instructors and coaches to teach various programs in Optimists, Hobie Waves, Hobie Getaways, Club 420s, and Sonars.

The positions include, but are not limited to:
- Race Team Coaches: Opti and C420
- Junior Sailing Instructors: Opti, 420 and Hobies
- Adult Sailing Instructors: Sonar and Hobies

Full & Part Time Positions Available for all of 2019 (Spring, Summer and Fall)

Candidates should be enthusiastic role models and educators for their students, while upholding the goals of the organization. Mutual respect and willingness to work with other staff, getting as many people out on the water sailing requires a true team effort!

Length employment and number of hours per week vary based on position.

Job Requirements
We require all sailing instructors to have completed the following certifications:
CPR/First Aid Certification
Concussion Training

For Junior Instructors we also require:
US Sailing Level 1
US Powerboat Handling
NYS Powerboat License, or equivalent
