Job Description
Tampa yacht and Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic part-time sailing coach for our growing youth and adult sailing programs. We sail here at The Yacht Club and travel to local regattas with our Optis and Flying Scots. During the summer months we host summer learn to sail camps. The Assistant Coach will work with the Sailing Director to deliver quality sailing instruction and coaching to all levels of sailors. TYCC are looking for a dedicated sailor with a strong sailing resume.

Job Requirements
The assistant sailing coach will be responsible for;

-Provide excellent customer service to members of the yacht club
-Planning and delivering effective sailing lessons to both youth and adult members
-Operating a power vessel safely
-Adhering to strict safety protocol
-Ability to communicate in a clear, professional manner
-Travel to away regattas
-Asist in the maintenance of our fleet
-Maintain current US Sailing and First Aid requirements
-Other duties as assigned by the Sailing Director and Dockmaster


-Experience racing small boats
-2-3 years of coaching experience
-AED First Aid CPR
-Clean Driver's License
-Safesport and Heads up
-US Sailing Level 1, 2 preferred


-Pre-employment drug screening
-Criminal background check
-Working outside in a hot environment
-Lifting upwards of 30lbs frequently
-Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling
