Job Description
Venice Youth Boating Association, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit in beautiful Venice, Florida is seeking a Full-Time, Year-Round Program Director to help manage:
-a school year Club Race Team

There are 4 Coaches to manage during the school year and typically 6-8 Instructors for the Summer Program. The VYBA is located on an island with easy access from the dock to 3 local bays and an inlet to the Gulf of Mexico. We are on the property of the Venice Yacht Club, but we are a separate entity and have our own Board of Directors that the Program Director works with to manage policies, finances, scholarships, general maintenance and operations, as well as major purchases.

Currently, the VYBA has:

-a 15.5' RIB
-26 Optis
-4 World Wide Sailor Prams
-6 O'Pen Bics
-9 420s (8 Zim and 1 Vanguard)

Most of our Coaches are "home-grown" and the VYBA has a great relationship with the community because we've been around since 1952. The Program Director we are seeking will be safety-orientated, passionate about the sport, and able to fit in well with our team. The current Program Director is leaving due to family obligations, so if you have questions about the position feel free to reach out and ask! Pay is commensurate with experience.
