Job Description
Working at CBI is one of the most unique and fun opportunities in Junior Sailing – it’s not a camp, and certainly not your typical yacht club. CBI serves children ages 10 and up from throughout the Greater Boston Area, especially children that might not otherwise have the opportunity to sail. Community Boating has fleets of Mercurys, E420s, Lasers, windsurfers, Ideal 18s, Sonars, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards.

Instructors teach beginner, intermediate and advanced level classes using our Mercury (15-foot dinghy) fleet and in our Laser, 420, and Keel fleets. Instructors split time between teaching classes and supervising the dock. Staff also teach basic paddling, organize junior program activities, adventures and events, and support field trips and Instructors In-Training.
