Job Description
The Greenwich Bay Sailing Association is seeking to hire an additional 420 Race Coach. We are a non-profit sailing center connected with the East Greenwich Yacht Club. We are located in central Narragansett Bay and compete in NBYA.

Our teams travel and race in NBYA events as well as regional events. As a program, we are investing more in our racing program and have seen our racers move up in competitiveness. We are looking to continue to grow our racing program. Our racing coaches also teach team racing 1 day a week, as this is another focus of our racing program.

The program length is 8 weeks and there is a setup week before the program and another 2-3 days at the end to break everything down. Staff hours are 830-430. Compensation is salary/experience based, but there are lots of opportunities to earn extra, through private lessons and other avenues.

Our club has a wonderful community and culture -- our families are supportive and collaborative and often volunteer to help out the program. Parents are a help, not a hindrance, at our club. GBSA is a stand out club on the bay for its sense of friendliness, sportsmanship, and competition.

Out of state/country employees will be provided a housing stipend.
