Lays out & marks reference points and places parts in specified relationship to each other according to approved Bill of Materials.
Operate hand drills, hand saws or riveting tool to assist in assembly operation
Removes small quantities of metal with machine grinders, hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
Installs moving parts, such as pins, ends and straps and tests them on sample fittings.
Returns proper documentation for completed projects to Supervisor.
Provides written advisories of any material shortages for completed and uncompleted projects to both Supervisor and Shipping Department.
Utilizes Selden Engineering guidelines and specifications while performing job operations.
Inspects finished product for quality compliance and correspondence to the Production order specifications.
Packages finished product.
Works at different work stations as production needs require.
Maintains a safe, clean, well-stocked and organized work area.
Reports product and tooling deficiencies and material defects during manufacturing process to supervisor.
Looks for ways to improve personal standards in assembly of masts by expanding process & product knowledge.
Assists in loading & unloading of production shipments.
