Job Description
Need USCG licensed captain and sailing instructor for summer 2018-19. Manager/Captain also considered, with profit-sharing potential. If you are looking for big boat yacht charters this is not it. If you love sailing a Rhodes 19 or Mariner 19 six or more hours a day and teaching sailing this is for you. You will usually receive generous tips in addition to salary often from $20-$100 per trip, 3-4 trips per day. Great town, great visitors, great social life after hours within walking distance of harbor.

Charters involve beaching and docking shoal-draft sloop with up to 6 passengers 11AM-8:30PM daily under sail. Sailing school 8:30-10:30AM daily. Should have small-boat sailing background, experience carrying passengers desireable, teaching experience, and be physically fit. Would consider newby (with proper credentials) for training if you have good rapport with people. Being personable is a big part of the job. May have to deal with people with disabilities getting on and off the boat, and sometimes children with mental disabilities like autism. Should live near Outer Cape Cod (Orleans-Provincetown), or at least on Cape Cod. Housing provision nearby if you want to relocate.
