The deck, cockpit, and dagger board trunk have been updated to modern configuration Gerber’ S Boat works of City Island, NY was founded in 1935 and they build high quality wooden snipes from 1947 to the 1960’s. Boat numbers ranged from #6692 to #12519.
This boat was owned by Fred Pember of AYC, then Herb West of AYC, and then refinished by Lee Bradley of AYC.
