Notice is hereby given that TAHOE CITY PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT will receive sealed bids for the sale of the following items of personal property and equipment previously declared surplus:
DESCRIPTION: RS Quba Sailboats
MINIMUM BID PRICE: $2,500 per boat
Items to be sold in "as is" condition and no representation, warranty, or guarantee are given or made as to the age, state of condition or state of repair, or in any manner whatsoever affecting the items sold, other than the ownership thereof. Sales or use tax if any shall be the responsibility of the purchaser. Bidders may examine the equipment by contacting the District at (530) 583-3796 to make an appointment between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Sealed written bids shall be delivered to and received by the District on or before 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 1 at which time they will be opened and declared. Oral bidding will then be allowed, with the requirement that any oral bid be a minimum of 10% over the highest written bid received. If no written bids are received, minimum oral bid shall be set forth above.
Mailed written bids shall be delivered to the District at P.O. Box 5249, Tahoe City, California 96145, attention Terri Viehmann. Personally delivered bids, as well as oral bids, will be received at the District Administrative Office, 221 Fairway Drive, Tahoe City, California, attention Terri Viehmann.
Sale and transfer of the property hereinabove described shall thereafter be made to the highest and best bidder subject to any minimum bid price, no later than October 15th, 2021. All bids for purchase must be for cash or cashier's check, payable concurrently with transfer of ownership, and the District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informally or irregularity in the bid or bidding procedures.
