Annapolis Yacht Club is hiring Coaches/Instructors for Summer 2026 and beyond!

The Annapolis Yacht Club, Inc. is looking for a wide range of talented summer coaches and instructors from all over our nation and abroad to join our competitive racing and learn to sail programs. AYC offers competitive salaries and can accommodate out of town coaches with free housing for the summer. Work commitment is from June 1st - Aug 15th, 2026 with time off during the week of July 4th.

NEED A WINGFOILING COACH!

Spring coaching postions run from February 25th - May 22nd, 2026!

Fall coaching positions run from August 31st  - November 15th, 2026!

Many positions are available from learn to sail, adventure sailing, and to race coaches. (Optimist, c420s, Keelboats, WingFoiling)

Along with our Main Clubhouse and Family Activity Center, AYC has a state of the art Sailing Center that is the hub for all sailing activities. It has classroom space with dry erase boards, TVs with HDMI Ports, and more on the second floor that can seat up to 200 people.

Qualifications:

• US Sailing Level 1 certification or higher
• SafeSport Certification
• Maryland Boater’s License or equivalent (NASBLA approved)
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to pass a background check
• Exceptional skills in working with youth sailors
• Strong parent management abilities!
