The United States Naval Academy invites applications and nominations for the full-time position of Assistant Director Offshore Sail Training Squadron. This position is responsible to the Director of the Offshore Sail Training Squadron (OSTS). This individual will be responsible for coaching and training midshipmen and volunteers in preparation for offshore sailing during the summer. The individual will be expected to work in a marina environment around machinery in a variety of weather conditions. The position will require occasional weekend work and some travel as directed in support of offshore sailing. Other important duties include computer and multi-media skills, curriculum management, fiscal management, and practice and compliance with Naval Academy rules and regulations. Salary commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications: Extensive offshore sailing experience, sailing instructor experience, and U.S. citizenship
Preferred: US Sailing Certifications, and experience in developing training and curriculum
