Job Description
The Riverdale Yacht Club, is 20 minutes from midtown Manhattan, located on the Hudson River, in the Bronx. We are looking for experienced US Sailing Level 1 certified instructors for our Junior Sailing Program. Started 12 years ago, our successful program continues to expand. As a member of the Junior Sailing Association of Long Island Sound, we have participated in regional Opti and 420 regattas. We also incorporate adventure and big boat sailing into our curriculum. In 2023 we will offer youth sailing classes on Optimist, Laser, 420 and 29ers. Adult sailing classes are also offered on 420s, and Lasers, and on a Capri 22. The program starts June 17th and will run for 6 to 7 weeks.  We offer competitive compensation, and provide housing.  Our instructors enjoy NYC, and many regional activities on their time off(Sunday and Mondays).
We look forward to hearing from qualified candidates who will make a major contribution to our Junior Sailing Program.
