Job Description
The Club 420 Class Association was established to promote, foster, encourage and sponsor one-design sailing. The Association sponsors and puts on multiple national level championships as well as regional events and supporting education and clinics for class members across North America. The core mission of the class is to promote a lifelong love of sailing for all ability and experience levels of youth sailors.

The C420 Class is looking for a Communications intern to assist the Executive Director in executing all duties of the association. Our internship will provide student interns the opportunity to gain valuable and unique experience. The internship requires a maximum commitment of 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule and is presently remote with a possibility of limited travel. This is an unpaid position.

Responsibilities:

Communications

-Social Media

-Support communications planning and scheduling

-Emails to members

Clinic support

Regatta documentation support

Time Commitment: This internship will require approximately 15 hours per week of work. The job will begin immediately in June and last until the end of August.

Qualifications: All applicants must have completed at least one year of college undergraduate courses, be a sailor with a background in youth one design racing, be comfortable using Social media, excel, able to work flexible hours, and take on and execute small projects on their own.
