Job Description
East Bay Sailing Foundation (EBSF) is looking for both Learn to Sail, Adventure, and Race Instructors

EBSF’s mission is to foster self-confidence, self-reliance, and good sportsmanship through instruction in sailing, seamanship, and racing skills at appropriate levels in a safe and fun environment so that participants may enjoy the benefits of sailing for a lifetime. We encourage an ongoing dialogue among students, parents, instructors and the EBSF Committee and the involvement of anyone who supports these goals.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE:
Our 8 week summer program starts June 21th and ends August 13th. Instructors will attend mandatory setup week before and breakdown week after.

LOCATION:
EBSF operates out of Bristol Yacht Club in Bristol, RI.

LEARN TO SAIL CLASSES:
We offer our community (both kids and adults) Learn to Sail classes in the Cape Cod Mercury, Blue Dragon (Plastic optis), J22s, 420s, and (potentially) OPen Bic.

ADVENTURE CLASSES:
This is for students ages 10-16 who will mainly have fun and explore Bristol Harbor. Our goal is to have our students develop a passion for sailing and the environment. Students will sail Cape Cod Mercurys, J22s, or 420s.

RACE TEAMS:
We have both Intro to Race classes and Race teams at EBSF for both the Optimist, C420, and potentially the Laser. We are looking to grow our teams and travel to a couple regattas/clinics locally in Narragansett Bay. Race Instructors will need to work with parents and organize travel logistics.

If interested please send resume and cover letter (or intro email) to Michael Zonnenberg at programdirector@eastbaysailingfoundation.com
