Fort Worth Boat Club is a sought-after destination located only a short distance from Downtown Fort Worth. Our members enjoy a broad range of amenities and an annual schedule of on-the-water activities. We are nearing completion of an exciting $5+ million dollar Clubhouse Remodel, offering our members a modern Boat Club Lifestyle Experience.
Our breathtaking views of Eagle Mountain Lake, 13.5 acre waterfront property, and colorful sunsets are second to none. The FWBC Youth Sailing Program is generously supported by our members and the Junior Sailing Committee. You’ll find no shortage of volunteers when it comes to youth sailing at Fort Worth Boat Club.
Why Fort Worth, Texas?
When we say welcome to Fort Worth, we genuinely mean it. Fort Worth is the 12th-largest city in the United States, known for hospitality and a dozen remarkable districts full of culture and fun. The 35-block Sundance Square entertainment district has unlimited offerings: live music, live theatre, entertainment, art festivals, and more. Check out the stunning museums of the Cultural District, the Botanic Garden and nearby Fort Worth Zoo. Enjoy big city arts and entertainment without the attitude or high prices of comparable metros. It’s no surprise that Fort Worth is one of the five fastest growing cities in the U.S.
Besides just population, this growth includes rates for employment, income, gross product, retail sales and housing permits. Did we mention there is no income tax in Texas? Affordable housing and low cost of living are driving that growth. Clearly, Fort Worth is welcoming lots of success.
This role is being vacated by our current Sailing Director, who is moving on for an exciting opportunity after 8 years of successful employment. Although these are big shoes to fill, we are seeking an energetic candidate with excellent communication skills, organization, and advanced experience in coaching Optimist, ILCA, and double-handed fleets. Along with the Junior Sailing Committee, a successful candidate will be able to develop a program they are truly passionate about. This is a year round salaried position, including a generous benefits package. Relocation assistance is also available.
