Organization Overview
Olympia Community Sailing (OCS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to creating an inclusive, diverse sailing community in the greater Thurston County area by providing access, recreation, and competition for all. We offer a variety of programs, classes, and experiences for sailors of all ages and skill levels. With a large fleet of sailing dinghies and keelboats we run a wide variety of programs for youth and adults. Our flagship programs are our youth race teams, in addition to our STEAM and environmental education camps.
We currently operate out of two locations, both in the heart of downtown Olympia: The Olympia Yacht Club, in West Bay, and the Swantown Marina, in East Bay, both a part of Budd Bay in the terminus of the Puget Sound. Surrounded by National Parks, equidistant to both the ocean and Cascade mountain range, Olympia is an ideal place to live and work for outdoor enthusiasts.
