Head Sailing Instructor

The Boston Sailing Center is a sailing school for adults located on Boston Harbor. With a fleet of 75 keelboats range in size from 23 to 41 feet, we are one of the largest sailing clubs in the northeast.

We are looking for an experienced sailing instructor to lead our training program.

This is a full time position from April through October with the potential for off season hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Recruiting and training new instructors
• Assigning instructors to classes, seminars, charters, and member check out sails
• Refining lesson plans and presentations
• Teaching classes as needed

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have strong communication skills, and extensive teaching experience. ASA instructor certification required, but the BSC could assist an otherwise qualified individual obtain certification.
