Job Description
Surf City Yacht Club on beautiful Long Beach Island, NJ seeks Sailing Instructors for the Summer of 2021. We are seeking staff for beginner to advanced classes in Optimist, Radial, Sunfish, and c420. (Travel Team Coaches Also Wanted). We have very competitive pay based on experience and credentials. 
 
Minimum US Sailing level 1, first aid and CPR certified or equivalent.
We have very supportive parents. Tentative Schedule: Job begins late June runs for 8 weeks and ends Mid August . Housing options may  available for highly qualified non local applicants. Job Requirements
US sailing Level 1 or equivalent
CPR, first aid, safesport, etc..
Racing Experience, Advanced Level
Prior Instruction experience or experience with children

Commitment to teaching and working with kids
Self motivated and responsible
Able to follow directions and works well with others
Knows or able to learn proper rigging and tuning to maximize speed
Make Safety and risk assessment a priority
Able to troubleshoot powerboat issues and perform simple sailboat repairs
Has fun while on the job!
