Mentor Harbor Yachting Club in Mentor, Ohio is looking for instructors for the 2023 summer season. Camp instructors must be 16+, Level 1 certified, and have a reliable ride to work. This position is a full time, seasonal position that requires the candidate to work from early June through July for set up, camp, and tear down. The camp itself runs from June 12 - July 28, Monday - Friday, 9am-4pm. Instructors are required to be present for set up, tear down, and all camp related activities such as the traditional camp sleepover and end of season banquet. Instructors must be able to give chalk talks, prepare and execute land and water drills, and know how to properly rig every boat in the program (optis/FJs/420s).
Housing may be available if the candidate is over 18.
Pay is negotiable based on experience or resume.
