Job Description
Eastern Yacht Club is seeking experienced sailing coaches and instructors who demonstrate strong leadership and a comprehensive understanding of teaching youth sailors at various skill levels. Our program focuses on coaching beginners, intermediates, and those developing basic race skills.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for coaching, take initiative, and have a proven track record of success in youth sailing instruction. While prior coaching experience is appreciated but not required, candidates should either have experience in high school or collegiate sailing. We value instructors who can effectively advance the skills of our sailors while fostering a positive and supportive environment.
At EYC, our coaching staff collaborates as a cohesive team, ensuring that each sailor receives quality instruction tailored to their needs. We are dedicated to promoting a love of sailing while building confidence and skill in young sailors.

Job Requirements
- US Sailing Small Boat Sailing Instructor Level 1, CPR and First Aid, and SafeSport Certified.
- Dinghy Racing and or Keelboat experience
- The ability to be based in Marblehead, MA from early June mid August (Can discuss possible housing)
Pay is based on experience.
Will reimburse for Level 1, CPR & First aid, and SafeSport certification upon first day or work.
