Junior Sailing Instructors / Race Coach

Cold Spring Harbor Beach Club is seeking passionate and enthusiastic sailing instructors and a race coach to train and coach our beginner and advanced sailors ranging in age from 8-16 in Junior Sailing, Boating and all on water activities.  Boats include Optimist, ILCA (Laser), RS Feva and Club 420.

** Housing *may* be available 

• Coaching & Instruction: Promote a positive and encouraging sailing environment that reflects the club’s culture. Provide hands-on coaching to junior sailors of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced, focusing on safety, technique, and sportsmanship.
• Support other ‘on water’ activities:  Where curriculum, weather or other schedule requires help to support other ‘on water’ activities with youth (e.g. SUP, Kayak, windsurfing, power boating, etc.)
• Safety Management: Ensure all safety protocols are followed on and off the water. 
• Communication: Maintain clear, ongoing and timely communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, schedules, and program updates.
• Race Training:  support sailors both in training for and during sailing regattas
