The Downtown Sailing Center (DSC) is an award-winning, nonprofit community sailing center that has been making sailing accessible to the greater Baltimore community since 1994. The DSC community consists of members, volunteers, and participants, all of whom come together through the sport of sailing. For adults, we offer lessons as well as membership opportunities that include recreational sailing, fun and competitive racing, and cruising. For youth, we offer a summer day camp as well as outreach programming that includes an after-school STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) curriculum, CIT (counselor in training) workforce development program, and the Siebel Sailors Program (in partnership with U.S. Sailing). For persons with disabilities, we offer accessible sailing, racing, and group outings. We are located at the Baltimore Museum of Industry in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
