Job Description

Bow Mar Yacht Club, located on a beautiful neighborhood lake at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, is looking for a mature, responsible, and enthusiastic Head Instructor for our 2022 summer program.

This is a well established, fun and competitive summer Junior Sailing Program, for ages 8-16 years old. Camp class sizes average 8-10 kids. Bow Mar Lake is the center of a friendly, family-oriented community. Classes are taught on a beautiful 100 acre private neighborhood lake with a large sandy beach and facilities, just 15 minutes southwest of Denver. The program serves approximately 80-100 students during the course of our 8 week season. Classes are taught in Sunfish, Teras, Lasers and Fevas. The head instructor will manage a team of 2-3 instructors. In addition to the 8 weeks of classes, advanced students will participate in the Rocky Mt Junior Sailing Olympics.

This a great place to spend the summer. Classes run Monday-Friday. Spend your evenings, after classes, enjoying Denver and the surrounding areas. And on your weekends head to the mountains for biking, hiking or sailing at Lake Dillon. It's a great way to spend the summer!

Pay starts at $20/hour, based on experience. Housing with a neighborhood family is included, as well as access to the family's Lake Dillon condo on off days and weekends.
