National Sales Manager

Would you like the opportunity to use your successful sales background to mentor direct reports in an industry you are passionate about? This customer-focused, solution-oriented company, one of the top sailboat sails manufacturers in the U.S., is all about challenging the status quo. They are seeking a collaborative, ambitious National Sales Manager to lead their sales efforts. In this role, you will analyze metrics and forecasts to devise sales and marketing strategies, including sales programs, campaigns, and techniques. You will also develop quotas, forecasts, and compensation for your team members and be responsible for coaching and development. The chosen candidate can work from anywhere in the U.S. with travel required to trade shows; candidates near a company hub may be required to come onsite weekly.

Job Requirements
Must Haves
• Demonstrated experience implementing and making recommendations for sales strategies and programs
• Connection to the sailing industry (professionally or personally)
• Ability to forecast and synthesize data, metrics, & trends and explain the results in a clear, actionable manner
• Background participating in the budget process
• Proven experience developing and coaching a sales team (providing tools, training, and/or resources for success)
• CRM aptitude

Nice-to-Haves
• Prior international sales experience (strong preference)
• Background managing the budgeting process from start-to-finish
• Direct people leadership experience and holding team accountable to sales metrics
