Job Requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service and support
Train, motivate, coach, mentor and develop seasonal staff
Role model expectations and best practices for seasonal staff
Prep & commission boats for delivery
Pick & pack small package orders
Inventory management and organization of parts and boats
Assist and drive growth, and sales
Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed
Off-site sailing demos and regatta support sales
Coordinate customer and carrier pick-ups and deliveries
Apply project management to assist operational projects as assigned
Ensure timelines and work efficiency goals are met
Receive and store boats and parts
Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of parts and supplies used in maintenance, repair, and sailing equipment. Should be familiar with Club420, Laser/ILCA, Opti, RS Feva, Sunfish and related dinghies
Organizational experience preferred managing time, boats and, employees
Managerial and leadership experience preferred
Good at problem solving, and able to accurately generate, explain and, present detailed schedules
Strong attention to detail
Collaborate well with others
Focused on continuous improvement for the business and for personal growth
Excellent critical thinking and decision making skills
Strong time management skills
Multitask effectively and efficiently
Knowledge of Microsoft, Google, Adobe and POS applications
Ability to lift 75 lbs
Capable of long work days during the sailing season
