Job Description
King Harbor Youth Foundation, one of the premier youth programs in Southern California, is actively seeking an experienced Optimist instructor for beginners and racers for a full or part time position. 
 
Ideal candidates will be outgoing, well organized, and be able to connect with sailors and their parents. In addition to coaching, candidates need to be comfortable doing general maintenance on club owned boats and around the facilities. There are also opportunities for additional income through private lessons.

Job Requirements
US Sailing Instructor Level 1 or higher
CPR, Basic First Aid, & SafeSport certification
Must be 18 or graduated from high school.
Ability to travel to regional and national regattas with Club/Parent support
Valid Driver’s License
Powerboat/Rib experience
Basic maintenance skills
Responsible, reliable and self-starter
Positive role model, commitment to safety and sportsmanship
