Job Description
Manhattan Yacht Club is looking for an energetic Race Manager for weeknights and Saturday afternoon races from May thru mid-October. Great role for recent college graduate.

 

About Us: Manhattan Yacht Club is the premier sailing club in New York Harbor with over 400 members. Our fleet of J/24 sailboats race every Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and we race Sunfish dinghies Saturday afternoons.
 

Job Description: Includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Welcoming, cheerful demeanor
  • Driving a RIB to/from race course
  • Setting & pulling race marks
  • Monitoring race in action to ensure Club rules are followed

 

  • Not Remote Work. Part-Time & Seasonal. Tuesday & Wednesday Evenings 5:30PM to 10PM plus Saturday afternoons.

Requirements:
Experience driving motor boat
Physical ability to stand for hours at a time, pull up race markers/anchors, and be outdoors in summer temperatures.
