At US One-Design / McLaughlin Boat Works, we specialize in high-performance, one-design dinghy sailing. Our mission is to provide expert support, quality equipment, and exceptional service to sailors at every level of competition.

This is a part-time opportunity for candidates locally (MA) or based in Florida to assist with the transport of trailers and equipment, particularly along the southern sailing circuit, where we spend a significant amount of time supporting events. The Regatta Support Team member will additionally help with event setup and breakdown, ensuring boats and equipment are ready for use and properly packed afterward. Additional responsibilities include supporting charter operations by helping customers check boats in and out, selling merchandise and sailing gear at regatta sites, and providing friendly, professional customer service to sailors, families, and coaches.

Ideal Candidate:

• Small-boat sailing or regatta experience preferred.

• Must be able to safely drive and maneuver a trailer.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.

• Willingness to travel and work weekends during events.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older (for vehicle operation compliance).

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs or more (boats, gear, and trailer equipment).

• Comfortable working outdoors and in fast-paced environments.
