Description of Duties
Managing Watersports Staff
• Organize and supervise daily operations
• Supervise safety aspects of all Watersports policy and procedures
• Create standardized processes for delivering watersports
• Assign and delegate daily tasks to Watersports Staff
• Ensure all CBW employee policies are being followed
• Supervise maintenance and upkeep of watersports equipment and support dinghy
• Make recommendations for equipment replacement
• Create a team environment
• Challenge and motivate staff to achieve sales, superior guest service and promote CBW
Managing Club Concierge Staff
• Responsible for training staff member on systems and processes
• Maintaining processes for room charge and retail billing
• Schedule Club Concierge Staff
• Assign staff member to Club Members Reception
• Receive and process private vendor bookings made through Club location
Communication with Ritz Carlton Concierge Staff
• Review and provide information regarding Fareharbor and processes
• Received and bill private vendor bookings made through Concierge
• Assist with guest resolution related to CBW trips, billing and retail room charges
• Forward critical communications received in Watersports regarding guests or property information to Property Director
Communication with Ritz Carlton Catering
• Monitor and submit daily trip counts to Chef
• Track and record trip counts to be submitted for billing
• Problem solve immediate issues with incorrect food orders
Retail Inventory
• Supervise and train staff on inventory policies for tracking, reporting and billing
• Assist with inventory counts as requested by Finance
• Communicate inventory needs to appropriate CBW staff member for purchasing
• Responsible for reconciling and maintaining Medicine Chest at Concierge
Payroll and Scheduling
• Manage and report days worked, daily commission sheets and approve time cards
• Summarize monthly requests for time off and create staff schedules
• Adjust schedule for call outs, emergency time off and reducing staff as needed
Staff Training
• Responsible for all aspects of training Watersports Staff members
• Systems
• Policies and Procedures
• Ritz Policies
• Sailing Lessons
• Dinghy Operation
• Safety/Rescues
• Responsible for delegating training portions to supporting team members
• Responsible for Dinghy Training and record keeping of evolutions
• Promote weekly/monthly staff training in all aspects of the Watersports Center, Sales, watersports and safety
• Encourage upward mobility within Cruz Bay Watersports for staff members seeking additional opportunities
Starting pay is $150 per day
