Robin Hood Camp Maine combines 93 years of traditional values with one of the most dynamic programs in camping: Young people, from around the world, have total freedom to choose their schedules, among more than thirty-five sports and activities daily. We are the only camp in the U.S. located on a fresh-water lake and the ocean. The community is exceptionally friendly and positive, as all children are interviewed before admission. Instruction is world-class, rare in summer camps. Add the Robin Hood spirit of nonstop fun, challenge and supportiveness, and campers can’t help but return year-after-year.

Three Reasons Robin Hood is Different from Other Camps

  1. World renowned counselors – learn from the best. Whether it’s tennis, sailing, soccer, waterskiing or one of our more than 35 activities, you’ll be getting instruction from professionals, college athletes, junior Olympians and generally great people!
  2. Amazing campers from around the world – campers from 25 countries are selected through a rigorous admissions process to ensure they are the right cultural fit for the Robin Hood community.
  3. Location, Location, Location – Robin Hood is the only camp in the world on both a fresh water lake AND the ocean. This unique location allows for activities like ocean yachting, sailing, kayaking, SCUBA and more on both the lake and ocean.
