Stage Harbor Yacht Club is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Race Team Coach for Summer 2026 to lead and develop our competitive junior sailors. The ideal candidate is a skilled racer, strong leader, and passionate mentor who can inspire young sailors to grow both on and off the water.
As the Race Team Coach, you will:
- Lead daily on-the-water and classroom training focused on racing strategies, tactics, and boat handling.
- Prepare sailors for local and regional regattas, including travel, coaching, and post-race debriefs.
- Foster a team culture of sportsmanship, resilience, and competitiveness.
- Work collaboratively with instructors, parents, and club leadership to support each sailor’s development.
- Ensure a safe and professional environment during all practices and events.
