About the Club:

Biddeford Pool Yacht Club is located in Wood Island Harbor and begins at the mouth of the Saco River in Southern Maine. We are a small private yacht club with about 120 family memberships and have been operating since 1934. Many families have been apart of the yacht club for generations. Biddeford Pool is a small peninsula surrounded by sandy and rocky beaches.

The town is very seasonal, about 4000 people in the summer. There is a general store next door to the yacht club (with delicious food!) and the Abenakee Club is down the road with a 9-hole golf course and tennis courts. It is a perfect place to spend a summer. We are about 15 minutes north of Kennebunkport and 30 minutes south of Portland.
Job Requirements
A candidate must have a thorough knowledge of small boat sailing skills, especially seamanship and sportsmanship. He or she must be a minimum of 18 years old, with experience and interest in working with children in a safe and caring environment to develop a lifelong interest in sailing. An applicant must be a self-starter as this is a flexible program and instructor input is essential.

US Sailing Certification Level 1 and current CPR & First Aid Certificates are required.
