Port Jefferson Yacht Club has been in existence since 1959 and is located on the water. The members are active in all water-related activities such as cruising, racing, kayaking, and fishing. Our natural deep-water harbor is large and has quiet areas where small boats can sail. Our education program has been operating for many years for children of ages 5-17 with the objective of promoting sailing, seamanship, and sportsmanship. In recent years, the addition of a keel boat has allowed for the scheduling of adult and family lessons and lessons for children with advanced sailing skills.
