Join a club where summer is more than a season—it’s a community, a tradition, and a chance to inspire the next generation.
Brant Beach Yacht Club (BBYC), one of Long Beach Island’s (NJ) most vibrant and cherished waterfront communities, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sailing Programs Director to lead our Junior and Adult Sailing Programs for the 2026 season and beyond!
If you are passionate about sailing, energized by youth development, and eager to create unforgettable on-the-water experiences, we want to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working at BBYC
At BBYC, we believe sailing is more than a sport—it’s a gateway to confidence, connection, and lifelong friendships. As Sailing Programs Director, you will play a central role in delivering safe, dynamic, and skill-building programs for hundreds of young sailors and adults each summer. You will guide a talented team, shape curriculum, organize regattas, and set the standard for excellence on and off the water.
This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, fun, and mission-driven environment.
Why This Role Stands Out
- A competitive seasonal compensation range, generally falling between approximately $1,300 and $1,800 per week (equivalent to about $11,700–$16,200 for the season or roughly $67,000–$94,000 annually when annualized).
- Additional seasonal incentives, including a pre-season work bonus and an end-of-season performance bonus.
- A transportation reimbursement stipend available to help support travel needs.
- Housing may be included, making this opportunity even more accessible for candidates from near or far.
