Sailing Instructors & Coaches

Seasonal Positions: from $17.50 - $25 per hour

 

Plymouth Yacht Club is currently hiring for ALL Sailing Instructor positions for our 2023 season. Founded in 1890 and located across from the Mayflower, this historic club is looking for enthusiastic coaches of all levels to run their summer sailing program.


We offer flexible hours, commuting incentives and excellent pay rates. *Hourly rates range from $17.50/hr for Assistant Instructors, up to $25/hr for our 420 coach Extra hours available for teaching Adult Lessons. Join the PYC seasonal employee team!

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

Coaches & Instructors must hold a valid US Sailing Level 1 or higher, First Aid and CPR certifications. Have familiarity with the boats in our fleet: Prams, Optis, Club 420s & RS Quests.

Bonus 1: We complimentarily offer the CPR and First Aid certification course a week prior to our Program start.

Bonus 2: We will refund 1/2 the fee for your 2023 US Sailing Level 1 or Level 2 course, upon completion of your employment end of season…AND 1/2 if you return to work with us again in 2024.
