The Mission of the St. Francis Yacht Club is to serve as the inspirational center

of boating activities regionally, and a leader of yachting internationally.

We honor camaraderie, sportsmanship, tradition and the maritime heritage

of San Francisco in a premier yachting environment. 

Position:         Race Assistant/Intern  
Reports to:     Race Coordinator/Race Director
 
 Job Summary / Qualifications

St Francis Yacht Club is looking for a full time employee to help with Race Office administration. The candidate should be self-motivated, have flexible hours and be available on weekends. Sailing experience or any US Sailing Certifications is a plus.  

·         Assist with management of regatta on-shore activities:

·         Assist in the creation of all regatta notices, forms & documents

·         Responsible for distribution & posting of Notices, entries, sailing instructions, forms, and other regatta documents for all race events

·         Facilitate trophy orders and all other necessary arrangements.

·         Assist with upkeep of Race portion of the Club website

·      Coordinate with Race Director for management/support of Weeknight racing.

·         Responsible for processing of entry fees and regatta fees

·         Assist in submitting PO/Invoices to accounting department in a timely fashion. 

·         Communicate sailing/regatta information to the press and club members.

·         Scoring of regattas.

·         Handling of protest documentation.

·         Communicate sailing/regatta information to the press and club members.
