Longshore Sailing School is a well established public waterfront facility. We have been in operation since 1960. LSS has over 1,000 junior students as well as 200 adult students. Our operating staff ranges in size from 25-40 depending on time of year.
We offer one week, two week and weekend programs as well as private lessons and special events. We look to hire those that love what they do and love sharing it with our students and customers. Our facility is also open to the public for hourly rentals of all vessels.
Longshore's season runs May 23 through September 7th.
We have work available for site setup starting May 11th and end season breakdown through September 13th.
Short term to five month contracts available. Typical work day is 9am-5pm.
All staff 18 years of age or older are eligible for overtime pay and additional renumeration via private lessons .
Already have a summer gig but looking for additional work? We are open on weekends too!
We provide all course framework for our instructional staff. We feel that instructors should not have to create everything for themselves but we HIGHLY encourage our staff to add their own style to everything they do!
All staff 18 years of age or older are eligible for overtime pay and private lessons (additional $20/hr).
