Job Description
BCSC is hiring a Summer Camp Manager.  This position is full time summer employment from Jun 14 to August 13.  Our campers are onsite from 9-4 Monday thru Friday.  The Camp Manager will be responsible to our Volunteer Board of Directors, and the Program Director specifically.  There are no job responsibilities on Saturday or Sunday.

The Summer Camp Manager will be responsible for the day to day operation of campers from 6-16 years old, plus management of the paid staff of Instructors and CITs and communication with the camper families.  There is a dedicated staff of Volunteers that handle maintenance of facilities and boats.  The Camp Manager is also not responsible for registration activities.

Founded in 1992, The Baltimore County Sailing Center is a nonprofit sailing center located at Rocky Point Park on the shore of Hawks Cove in Essex Maryland just northeast of Baltimore. BCSC is a community sailing center that is driven largely by the volunteers and donors that are dedicated to our mission of bringing people of all ages to the water and inspiring a life-long passion for boating.

BCSC hosts up to 100 campers during full registration and employs 14 paid staff of US Sailing certified instructors and CITs. We operate over 200 boats, including optimists, 420s, FJs, Fevas and various coaching and support boats.  Programming is primarily 'learn to sail' through competitive racing programs for children in the Baltimore metro region.  Our idyllic location in Hawks Cove, Middle River, Chesapeake Bay is a perfect, quite, isolated setting for our beach launch programs.  Our summer programming also includes a nature camp.

In addition to competitive pay, BCSC maintains a house on the property at Rocky Point Park and housing for the summer can be negotiated as part of the compensation package.
