Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club (BCYC) is looking for enthusiastic coaches to join our team for the summer season!
We are located in the heart of Newport Beach / Corona del Mar, CA. Minutes away from the beach, Balboa Island, and Fashion Island! We have one of the most competitive programs in Southern California and pride ourselves on the sailors we produce. Come enjoy a summer with us!
Dates of the Summer Program: June 15th - July 24th (July 3rd Off)
Mandatory Coaches' orientation will be on Wednesday (6/10) and Thursday (6/11). Will be paid for orientation.
** Racing level coaches may be asked to work an additional week at the end of summer for Junior Sabot Nationals: July 27 - 30**
Details:
- Summer Program (6 weeks): 40 hours per week.
- Organize chalk-talks and sailing program curricula for on and off-the-water class time.
- Focus on the fundamentals of sailing and racing.
- Monday & Wednesday Training Days.
- Tuesday & Thursday all bay race days.
- Friday fun days!
- Potential travel opportunities.
- Monitoring and evaluating all student behavior and performance.
- Report directly to the head sailing coach or sailing director.
