Summer Launch Driver Newport Yacht Club, Newport RI

Responsibilities:

- Operate and navigate Launch Vessel in various water conditions
- Ensure the safety of passengers and crew members on board
- Maintain and inspect the boat's mechanical systems and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance checks
- Monitor weather conditions and make decisions regarding safe navigation
- Communicate effectively with passengers and provide exceptional customer service
- Manage the loading and unloading of passengers and cargo
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

- Valid Boat USCG Captain's license or Launch Operators License
- Proven boat handling experience as a Boat Captain or Launch Driver
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Familiarity with maritime laws, regulations, and safety procedures
- Physical fitness to perform duties such as lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods of time, and being able to work in various weather conditions.
