Senior Sailing Instructors (420/Opti/RS Quests/Adventure Sailing Boats such as Sailfish and Sunfish)
Stone Horse Yacht Club in Harwich Port, MA, is located on Wychmere Harbor and enjoys direct access to the warm sailor friendly waters of Nantucket Sound.
Our junior sailing program boasts a team of instructors dedicated to teaching a wide range of classes, from introductory boating to competitive racing in a variety of boats such as Sailfish, Sunfish, Laser, Quests Optis & C420s. We have approximately 100 kids, ages 4 to 17, with all skill levels from beginner to advanced racer. Our students have an abundance of opportunities to explore sailing in a fun and supportive environment, and we encourage those who want to compete. Stone Horse has Opti and 420 racing teams that actively participate in Southern Massachusetts Sailing Association (SMSA) junior regattas throughout the summer. We host an Opti regatta at the club in addition to our own Saturday junior fleet racing series.
