A mission-focused school founded in the principles of social justice, Advent has served the students and families of Boston since 1961. Through its Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum, Advent's faculty deliver authentic, rigorous, and experiential learning opportunities that encourage students to "learn with passion, act with courage, and change the world."

The Enrichment Department comprises six robust programs. The After-School program serves approximately 100 students in pre-Kindergarten through Sixth Grade per day. We offer around 50 classes per week that range from robotics to sailing and a private music and language program. This department also hosts the Design at Advent summer program, school vacation week programs, ADVENTures days, Makerspace Saturdays, and child care for some school events.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Teach children in Fourth through Sixth Grade the fundamentals of sailing, with an emphasis on safety
