Provides ongoing maintenance and evaluation of physical assets, anticipates physical property needs and oversees capital projects.
Experienced in managing multiple events in one facility while the facility remains open for normal operations; managing multi-day events hosting hundreds of participants.
Familiar with social media and generally computer literate. Responsible for using social media to drive membership and inform current members, uses a suite of office software including client relationship management and accounting.
Skilled in forecasting budget shortfalls, taking corrective action to address budget shortfalls and identifying new revenue opportunities.
Experience improving operations and increasing membership/revenues.
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in management, business or finance) or applicable experience with a sailing club, marina management, hospitality, property management or self-owned business. Previous managerial, leadership or coaching history.
Knowledge of sailing, sailboat racing and sailing education programs.
