Annapolis Yacht Club is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced WingFoil Coach to join our summer coaching team!
About the Role:
You’ll be working alongside a lead coach to help run our youth wingfoiling program, focused on beginner to intermediate-level riders (ages 8–17). The program is designed to introduce young sailors to the fundamentals of wingfoiling in a fun, safe, and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with on-water coaching and safety
- Safely drive and handle a coaching RIB (powerboat) during sessions
- Help set up and maintain wingfoil equipment
- Support athletes during sessions both on and off the water
- Encourage a positive learning environment and promote sportsmanship

What We’re Looking For:
- No need to be a professional wingfoiler, with having some sort of understanding of the sport or a strong background in other board sports like windsurfing will do
- Good with kids and teens; patient and encouraging attitude
- US Sailing Level 1 or similar certification is a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to get it before the season)
- Available for the full summer season (June 2nd through mid-August)
