Job Description

Join us on the coast of Maine this summer to help build SKFF (Sail Kids For Free), our free youth sailing program for kids 8-14 years old.. The successful candidate will continue to develop an established and successful curriculum, will manage the waterfront team, and will work closely with other museum-based and waterfront staff.

This position is seasonal and can be part time (Mon-Friday mornings) or full time, including adult sail lessons and charters (if you currently have your captain's license).

Competitive pay, commensurate with experience.

Located on a working waterfront in Rockland, Maine, on the shores of some of the best sailing territory around (Penobscot Bay), our waterfront program has classroom facilities as well as on-water access and an array of boats - from our wooden Opti fleet to classic Herreshoff 12-1/2s to two historic Friendship Sloops.

Job Requirements
Do you love kids? Do you love sailing? We need a sailing instructor to head up our sailing class for kids 8 to 14 years old. These kids have a hungry desire to learn about boats. PART TIME, could be mornings only. FULL TIME could be some or all afternoons.
