Job Description
Working at CBI is one of the most unique and fun opportunities in Junior Sailing – it’s not a camp, and certainly not your typical yacht club. CBI serves children ages 10 and up from the Greater Boston Area, especially those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to sail. Community Boating has fleets of Mercury's (15-foot centerboards), 420s, Lasers, windsurfs, Ideal 18s, Sonars, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards.
Instructors split time between teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes, and supervising the dock and open-sailing. We also teach basic paddling safety, organize games, activities, adventures, and events, and support field trips and Instructors-In-Training. **Submit applications to Youth Programs Director, Niko Kotsatos at**
Job Requirements
Ideal candidates are flexible, enthusiastic, have excellent time management skills, and enjoy a fast-paced environment. Instructors work collaboratively with a team of 20 other instructors -- the job is consistently described by staff as being rewarding, fun, and challenging. Our instructors love their job and love coming to work. They must have a can-do attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever necessary.

-US Sailing Level 1 certification or foreign equivalent required for all sailing instructor positions
-Able to pass background check
-Launch tenders, STEM Instructor, and Windsurf Instructor with proper qualifications
